SuperCollider is immense! It is a synthesis server and a programming language. It uses unit generators like Reaktor, Max/MSP and PureData. It's free/ open-source too!

The amazing Cylob Music System was built using SC. The video below demonstrates his Traktor-killing DJ app, Kombine Beatharvester!

Here's the applet I put on the holding page. It simulates retrograde motion.

I'm going to build it up into a dynamic interface for the site. At least, that's the plan.

I've installed 1530 files today! We've got a lot of functionality lurking beneath the surface, waiting to be brought into being.

So far I've kept it simple: blogs, audio, and audio collaboration.

There's a tutorial here which, at the moment, just explains how to use the audio features.

There's a poll here which, we'll use to work out the priorities for further development.
